She was feisty in some scenes but I couldn't tell if that was actually her or if it was just some built up frustration. I also couldn't really get a good sense of Annika's character. It really just seemed like they liked each other because of how "forbidden" it was. It says they've been texting for a long time, but their relationship happened really quickly since we don't really get much background to it. There was definitely a lot of love declarations (it actually got to a point where it seemed like they said "I love you" every time they talked and it was almost too much), but other than that, I couldn't actually see why they loved each other. However, in terms of plot, I feel like this book was so focused on the forbidden love that I didn't really see the buildup to their relationship or why Levi and Annika are in love with each other. It's so cute to see how much they care for Levi (and each other) and vice versa. I also love how Levi has as many sisters-in-law as brothers now and they help keep the Bailey brothers in check when needed. This series was such a fun journey and it's great to see how the other couples are doing in this book.
