It really just seemed like they liked each other because of how "forbidden" it was. It says they've been texting for a long time, but their relationship happened really quickly since we don't really get much background to it. There was definitely a lot of love declarations (it actually got to a point where it seemed like they said "I love you" every time they talked and it was almost too much), but other than that, I couldn't actually see why they loved each other. However, in terms of plot, I feel like this book was so focused on the forbidden love that I didn't really see the buildup to their relationship or why Levi and Annika are in love with each other. ![]() It's so cute to see how much they care for Levi (and each other) and vice versa. I also love how Levi has as many sisters-in-law as brothers now and they help keep the Bailey brothers in check when needed.
